Brighton beach - Yesterday was a beautiful balmy day in Brighton! I love living here; there is something to do whatever the weather. With bright blue skies and a feeling of spring in the air, we load up the car and head down to the seafront - I always forget how beautiful it is down here.
We unpack the car making sure we are wrapped up warm and have the changing bag packed with lunch, drinks, bucket and spade, along with the 100 other items I always take everywhere with me!!
You can literally walk as far as you like, the seafront in Brighton goes along for miles, we started at Brighton pier and headed towards the West pier. Just before the West pier there is a gorgeous play area, what a setting!
It has something for all kids all ages and in the summer has a shallow pool for young children to cool off in. There are loads of cafes around and toilets so great for a day out.
After Florence had tired of the play area we headed down to the beach, spade at the ready!
As most people know Brighton beach is not known for its sand, rather uncomfortable stones! This did not deter Florence though... She spent about 20 minutes filling the bucket and emptying it! - Daisy x
