Sourdough So! your sourdough starter is now ready for the next stage, you have done all the hard work, you are ready to put all your hard work to good use...

Ingredients 300g flour 300g sourdough starter Tbsp olive oil Tsp salt 100ml warm water

20130420-165939.jpg Method Mix it all together in a bowl, flour your surface and tip the dough onto it and knead for 5-10 minutes. Add a little flour if too sticky or warm water if too dry.

Then leave it to rise for 5 hours in a warm place in a bowl covered with a tea towel or until it has doubled inside. 20130420-165055.jpg Tip- if it does not rise as much as expected the flavour will still be there it will just be more like a pastry than a dough base so don't despair.

The dough is now ready to use as you wish.
