Girls day out-Sealife centre Brighton Keeping a toddler entertained is hard work, I am always aware that I want Florence to be doing activities rather than sat in front of the TV all day. Don't get me wrong, the TV is great when I need her to be entertained for half an hour but if it's any longer I feel guilty!! It's a nice day-but still a bit chilly! There are loads of things to do in Brighton so lots to choose from.
Our friends Charlotte and Sophie suggested the Sealife centre, great suggestion because Florence LOVES fishes.
We meet in the lobby, pay (it's quite expensive now), and get our hand stamped. It's not really that much different from when I used to visit as a child-it's had a lick of paint and has lots of different coloured lights. We work our way through from tank to tank-Florence kept the pace up! We stop off to touch the star fish
Sophie was much braver than Florence!
And the Crabs
Then we head to the glass bottom boat... I think Charlotte and I were a little more scared than the girls.
We spotted a huge turtle...Florence would have jumped in if I had let her-Fearless
The girls had such a great time, a great space for them to run from onething to another, highly recommended.
Perfect day out for a rainy day,
