Icy Berry Smoothie: Children love having a special drink, especially if it's bright pink & they can help make it. This quick easy recipe makes delicious smoothies that I guarantee mummy will love too. We decided to make these in preparation for a day in the garden with Daisy & Florence but 15 minutes before they arrived the thunder started & by the time they arrived the heavens had opened, the naughty weather man got it wrong! But we still had great fun making the smoothies & really enjoyed drinking them too.
Ingredients: 400g frozen berry mix (or fresh berries with a handful of ice) 2tsp runny honey 250g natural yogurt 100ml water
Method: Put all of the ingredients into the blender & whiz together until smooth
You could use any fruit combination with this smoothie, I often add a banana and a handful of blueberries as I tend to have them handy.. Michelle
