Wake me up smoothie I am a real sucker for toast in the morning with real butter and marmite, but I find it makes me hungry rather than fills me up. When my dad had 'Food for Friends' we used to do the most simple yet filling and tasty smoothie which everyone loved. I remembered the other day and it has now been my energy boost every morning the past week!
1 banana whole 250g low fat natural yoghurt And that's it... Breakfast in a glass!
Put all the ingredients in a measuring cylinder.. One came with my hand blender. Then blend the banana till smooth into the yoghurt. If my hand blender is in the dishwasher or you don't have one, there are always other options, I used Florence's Avent steamer blender to blend my ingredients,its uses are endless!!
I added a teaspoon of honey when I made it for Florence but it did not need it at all.
It works really well with low fat yoghurt because it's thinner. Pour into a glass and enjoy! I gave Florence a mini glass and she absolutely loved it.
