Daisy's Book club

Daisy

Daisy's Book club I always get asked what books I am reading (I read alot!). Now that summer has arrived and us Mummies and Daddies are spending more time on the beach and parks, I thought I would recommend a few to pass by some time- whilst we keep one eye on our little ones of course!

My first recommendation is- Dead Man's Time by Peter James

I have read all of the 'Roy Grace' novels by Peter James. They have a special connection to me because they are all set in Brighton-My home town. This book inparticularly is close to home because the plot is set around my parents house!

A vicious robbery at a secluded Brighton mansion leaves its elderly occupant dying. And millions of pounds' worth of valuables have been taken. But, as Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, heading the enquiry, rapidly learns, there is one priceless item of sentimental value that the old woman's powerful family cherish above all else. And they are fully prepared to take the law into their own hands, and will do anything, absolutely anything, to get it back. Within days, Grace is racing against the clock, following a murderous trail that leads him from the shady antiques world of Brighton, across Europe, and all the way back to the New York waterfront gang struggles of 1922, chasing a killer driven by the force of one man's greed and another man's fury. 20130801-135557.jpg You will not be able to put this book down but I really advise starting from the first one which is called 'Dead Simple', they are a great read and perfect for picking up and putting down...

I read all my books on my Kindle now, It means I can read in the dark and my pages don't fall out when its hot!

Happy reading
