The BEST Banana cake: Quick & easy banana cake that never fails to impress. When I was pregnant with Oliver I was so addicted to this banana cake that my friend Sarah used to make me at least once a week and I'm delighted to say the craving is back 2nd time round. I now make this once a week and never seem to get tired of eating it. Thank you Sarah for sharing the recipe, it truly is the sexist banana cake ever!
Method Cream the butter & sugar together until pale Add bananas - whisk Add eggs - whisk Add flour & bicarb - either fold in or whisk lightly (not too much as it's self raising flour!!) Pop into a small loaf tin and cook on 180 for 45 mins (fan oven)
TIP: Pop a skewer or knife in to the middle of the cake and make sure it comes out clean, if it does it's cooked!
