Homemade potato wedges: A quick, easy alternative to the deep fried chip. Although lets be honest, nothing.. beats a fried chip but these are still very still very tasty.
Method Pre-heat the oven & a baking tray to 180 degrees Wash the potatoes & cut into 8 wedges per potato (I don't bother peeling) Rince the wedges & pat dry in a clean tea-towel Toss in olive oil Place onto a pre-heated baking tray for 13 minutes Using a spatular turn the potatoes over on the tray, re-costing in the oil Cook for another 12 minutes Serve when they are golden brown & fluffy inside.
Tip: for a spicy alternative add a sprinkle of dried chilli flakes
